Shift Production Management: Achieve daily shift production targets in accordance with the master production schedule
Supervise and manage blending and filling operations during the assigned shift.
Monitor equipment utilization, minimize downtime, and ensure optimal throughput.
Allocate manpower and resources efficiently to meet shift goals.
Record and report daily production figures, downtime, and shift activities.
Ensure accurate execution of batch manufacturing records and production documentation.
Ensure accurate data entry in SAP and process control systems.
Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to Health, Safety, and Environment regulations.
Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of shift personnel.
Conduct shift handover meetings and communicate production priorities
Quality Compliance and ISO Standards: Ensure all products are manufactured in compliance with quality specifications and ISO procedures.
Adhere to and enforce ISO 9001/14001 standards during shift operations.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team for in-process testing.
Identify and report any product non-conformities; initiate corrective actions.
Ensure traceability through accurate documentation of blending and filling records.
Support audits by maintaining compliance with SOPs and quality documentation.
5S and Workplace Organization: Maintain high standards of workplace cleanliness, orderliness, and efficiency
Implement and monitor 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices on the floor.
Assign cleaning and housekeeping responsibilities to team members.
Identify areas for visual management and workplace improvement.
Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are stored in designated locations.
Conduct regular 5S audits and follow up on action items.
Material Usage and Inventory Monitoring:
Ensure proper handling, usage, and recording of raw materials and packaging
Monitor material issuance and consumption during production.
Report material variances and minimize waste through proper usage practices.
Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for timely supply of raw and packing materials.
Maintain accurate records for batch-wise material traceability.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management: Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with HSE policies.
Conduct safety briefings, inspections, and enforce PPE usage on the shop floor.
Report and investigate safety incidents and near-misses; implement preventive measures.
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of hazardous materials.
Promote awareness of safety practices among shift personnel.
Participate in HSE training and emergency preparedness drills.
Qualification & Certification
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field..
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality assurance, and safety regulations.
Background & Experience
Minimum 3–5 years in production or operations within a lubricant, chemical, or FMCG manufacturing environment.
Experience with blending, filling, or packaging operations preferred.

Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) preferred.
