Production Operations Management
• Oversee daily manufacturing to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective output.
• Optimize use of labor, equipment, and materials to meet demand and minimize waste.
• Manage production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet customer needs.
• Monitor and achieve KPIs, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Enforce SOPs for consistent quality and operational standards.
• Analyze metrics to identify gaps and drive process improvements.
• Ensure quality control throughout production and in finished goods.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive actions to avoid recurring issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (Supply Chain, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse) to launch new products with quality and timely delivery.
• Promote safety, 5S, and productivity initiatives to enhance departmental performance.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Ensure all manufacturing processes meet regulatory standards (e.g., ISO) and internal quality requirements.
• Oversee quality control programs to maintain product consistency and excellence.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality department to manage material inspection, in-process checks, and finished goods quality.
• Conduct supplier audits with the Quality team to improve material supply standards.
• Handle customer complaints by coordinating root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions, ensuring timely responses.
Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
• Lead manufacturing improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and quality issues in production.
• Analyze KPIs and production data to uncover improvement opportunities.
• Focus on optimizing Blending and Filling areas for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Drive automation and technology integration to reduce manual work and boost productivity.
• Lead process optimization projects to enhance operational performance.
• Achieve annual cost savings by reducing material waste and process inefficiencies through targeted improvement projects.
Capacity expansion project & Cost Management & Budgeting
• Align with factory growth roadmap to assess production capacity needs and propose solutions using existing assets or new investments.
• Lead capacity expansion projects, ensuring smooth integration of equipment and systems.
• Coordinate successful localization of product portfolios at Vilube Factory.
• Manage manufacturing budgets to control production costs while maintaining quality.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives focused on labor efficiency, waste reduction, yield improvement, and resource optimization.
• Monitor capital expenditures and recommend investments in equipment or technology to enhance efficiency and capacity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team development
• Collaborate with key departments (Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Warehouse) to align manufacturing with business goals.
• Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure effective interdepartmental collaboration.
• Support seamless new product introductions and process changes.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and accountability within the production team.
• Supervise and develop production staff through regular evaluations, coaching, and training.
• Partner with HR to define competency needs, conduct training needs analysis, and implement development plans.
• Build succession plans and engagement initiatives to support long-term talent growth and organizational development.
Qualification and Experience Required
• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing management.
• Safety & Compliance: Strong safety mindset and leadership in HSE; knowledgeable in health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead multiple teams, drive performance, and manage change effectively.
• Technical Expertise: Skilled in production management, quality control, process automation, and ERP-SAP systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Experienced in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and strategic planning for operational efficiency.
• Financial Acumen: Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Team Development: Strong in training, mentoring, and building team capabilities; succession planning and engagement.
• Problem Solving & Decision Making: Excellent analytical skills with a proactive, results-driven approach.
