JOB PURPOSE
Provides engineering analysis, evaluation and coordination on installation, start-up and operation of coating projects, plants which allow the plant to operate safely and maximize quality, yield, and budget. Coordinate and integrate all activities to effectively utilize and well maintain plant equipment and systems.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ethic & Compliance

Planning
• Planning maintenance activities, and equipment routine maintenance based
on the production plan to ensure no interruption.
Safety & Environment
• Implement company Safety and 5S policies, regulation, and procedures within
the department to maintain a high standard regarding employee safety by
making it the first consideration above quality, production, and cost.
• Demonstrate a constant focus on reducing hazards in the facility through
accountability, auditing, training, communications, and compliance to
encourage team to follow.
Quality
• Follow-up and monitor coating process and equipment objectives in consistent
with company goals to ensure the fully compliance to company QMS policies
and regulations.
• Monthly report in regard of significant process and equipment issues to
eliminate the root cause and continuous improvement.
• Apply appropriate problem-solving techniques on all significant manufacturing
issues to resolve production problems, eliminate re-occurrence of the
problems on a timely basis.
• Coordinate with other departments/internal customer relationships to address
the problem quickly.
Production
• Follow up daily quality indicators to timely find out and address anomalies/issues.
• Carry out quality activities (review coating properties,…) to ensure continous and stable production
• Conduct DOE testing plan to improve product quality following Group R&D plan.
• Review and issue SOP/WIs to standardize the process and prevent mistakes.
• Liase with other engineers to solve common deparments issues..
Continuous Improvement
• Develop action plan to implement processes and equipment improvement.
• Study new methodology, technology related to coating equipment to saving
cost and time in production.
People Management
• Conduct training/refresh training SOP/WIs for shopfloor, evaluate
effectiveness of training.
• Propose annual training plan to Manager if applicable.
• Minimum Bachelor Degree of Chemistry
• English communication: be able to understand and produce text on familiar topics and give opinions and descriptions.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform tasks based on on-the-jobs training and/or practical application.
• Management: Performance or supervision of related activities that is precise as to content and objective and requiring awareness of related activities.
• Communication & Influence: Interaction with others requires social skills and the ability to understand and influence.
• Problem Solving & Decision Making: be able to provide solutions within assignment.
